I dropped "Titus Brandsma Shorty" into the Google and came up with too many hits to list. My original source was most likely SQPN, but the guy was like four-foot-nothing so the probability that he was not called Shorty is virtually nil. <br /><br />The reader also asked about calling him Saint Shorty rather than Blessed Shorty. I acknowledged that in the first paragraph when I noted that he is a beatus, not a saint. Blessed is the appellation we use for a beatus; beatus is the category of veneration.
